We are an open and loving community of Christ located in Fairmont, West Virginia.  Now in our second century of Christian ministry, we are a family of faith that draws strength from our Disciples of Christ heritage and direction from our conviction that all people can benefit greatly from a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

We consciously are “A Growing Church,” focused on our continued spiritual growth and the spiritual growth of our community.  We gather together to worship, serious about listening for God’s word but casual in our approach.  We gather together to learn, first from the Bible but then from anything else that can speak to our faith.  We gather together in fellowship, sharing in each others lives and loving each other.  We gather together to serve: each other, people in our community, and people around the world whom we’ve never met.

Central Christian Church is a spiritual home.  And we are like any extended family.  We support each other.  We kid each other and laugh together.  We don’t agree on everything, but we discuss our different opinions without being disagreeable.  We are with each other in hard times, crying together and praying together.
