I’ve always prided myself in the fact that I don’t accumulate excessive amounts of stuff, so I was a little surprised when my computer informed me that my cloud storage was full. When I was a child, families stored their excess stuff in little buildings in the yard or in their garage. Sometime in my teen years I remember seeing the first storage buildings that one could rent – apartment buildings for stuff minus their owners. Our society has progressed so much now that our stuff enjoys climate-controlled apartments minus their owners. I can understand stuff sitting in heated buildings on the ground, but I can’t quite fathom this storage building in the clouds. But, apparently, I’ve filled mine up and must pay for more.
Note to self: maybe it’s time to clean out my cloud and other areas of my life. After all, Jesus said all we need is sandals for our journey.
